Labor Day Approaches
As Labor Day approaches, many consider it to be a sign of the end of summer. As one season comes to an end and another will soon be upon us – a transition of sorts. While all individuals are unique, decades of research show there are actions we can take to prepare for change.
Streamline your life. Clear out mental and emotional clutter. Ask yourself a few questions: What do you value most in your life? How much quality time do you spend with the people and the things you care about most? What is the best way to use your time to create the life you want to have?
After pondering the above questions, consider reorganizing your highest priorities and re-evaluating your commitments. Allow yourself to let go of the past to make room for new things to enter your life. It can be helpful to write down key goals on index cards. This will allow you to hold yourself accountable, refer back to when you need a visual reminder all while committing to making decisions you’ve been putting off.
Soon you will find that while re-framing your attitude - your mindset will change. This capability does not happen by chance, however, and requires a strategic approach and practice.
